Fabio Capello: Ronaldo best player I’ve ever coached

Ronaldo at Real Madrid

Fabio Capello and Ronaldo have not been the best of friends since Capello moved from Juventus to Real Madrid last season.

Ronaldo stated that the coach did not have faith in him and that he wanted to continue playing so he moved to AC Milan where he has found motivation and desire to be the best again.

The Brazilian has since been highly critical of Capello, and in the weeks before Real won the title last Sunday, he said: “I hope Real Madrid win the League but only for the sake of my old team-mates, not for the coach, who doesn’t deserve it.”

However, Fabio thought that his move to Milan was the right thing and also labeled him the best.

“Ronaldo needed a change of scenery to rediscover his motivation. He is the best player I have ever coached.”

Capello also spoke about Antonio Cassano who has rarely featured for the club this season.

“He is an undeniable talent, but that is not enough to play a key role in a team and play regularly,” Capello told Sky Italia

Fenerbahce make offer for Ronaldo

Fenerbahce have submitted an offer of around nine million euros to Milan.

“A transfer will soon come that will put that of Roberto Carlos in the shade. Ronaldo is a world star and would fit in very well with us. It’s no secret any more that we are close to [signing] him.” Yildirim told Eurosport.

Fenerbahce are ready to offer Ronaldo a wage of 4 million euros per year.

Personally I do not think Ronaldo will leave Milan as he speaks very highly of the club and obviously wants to help them defend the Champions League Cup, an achievement yet to be reached by Ronaldo.
