Adriano Galliani was all smiles and in good humour when he entered the Football League headquarters. The Rossoneri chief executive commented on his good relationship with Pedrag Mijatovic and confirmed Kaka would not be sold. He also spoke about Cassano, Pato, Sheva, R. Oliveira and Ronaldo
Adriano Galliani has once again reiterated that Ricky Kaka will not be leaving Milan. The Rossoneri chief executive made the comment as he entered the Football League headquarters to attend a meeting. He said: I’ve asked Pedrag Mijatovic to drop this business about Kaka. I’ve told him enough is enough - in a polite way of course. Kaka will absolutely be staying in Milan. He has a contract and I believe he is happy to be in Milan. Certainly, these things are disturbing, but it’s proof that we have got the best player in the world.’
As for Antonio Cassano: ‘He’s a Real Madrid player, but we’ll see. We’ll open the urn again, the seals are still closed, I hope everyone knows I am joking. Does Mr Calderon say that Berlusconi wants 100million? That’s enough enough to enter in negotiations. Eto’o? The fiscal difference with other championships is a problem for our country. Shevchenko? He’s the second all-time top goalscorer in the history of Milan, obviously we all want him.’ Turning to Alexandre Pato: ‘He’s wanted by the top sides and there are seven or eight big clubs in Europe that can carry out certain operations for the same players.’
In what became an improvised press conference, the Rossonero chief also talked about the situation in attack: ‘Ricardo Oliveira will probably leave, Gilardino certainly not: Kaka , Ronaldo, Inzaghi and Gilardino are obviously our untouchables. We are just looking for another attacker, that’s it, no Emerson. It’s a possibility that the attacker is someone who hasn’t been in the press. If Eto and Ronaldinho stay at Barcellona, we will be pleased with our own. We are talking about Ronaldo too, Kaka is really great but there is also Ronaldo and there is good news about him. He’s slim and happy. I have spoken to the athletic trainer Tognaccini, he’s training in Brazil: he will be important this season.’ The reporters returned to the question of Kaka and whether he said anything to president Berlusconi: ‘It’s like the photo montague they published. They are cunning but president Berlusconi will never sign him away.’
