Pele is always wrong says Ronaldo

Pele and Ronaldo are not the best of friend and have a history of hostility towards eachother. The last time these two had a go at eachother was when Pele criticised Ronaldo for being more interested in his love life and personal problems then he was with football. Ronaldo responded with an attack on Pele’s son saying that Pele should be worried about his own problems and not about others.
This time round, Pele made a comment about Ronaldo’s comeback to football in an interview in Brazil.
“I don’t think Ronaldo will be able to be the player he once was,” Pele said.
“Medicine has made huge progress, but he’s also a few years older now. I would be very happy if he would be able to come back at 100%, but I’m afraid it won’t go that way.”
However, Ronaldo is not too worried about Pele’s comments.
“He said that I will not come back to play? I am happy that he said this,” Ronaldo told Radio Globo.
“It is well known that whatever Pele forecasts, the exact opposite comes true.
“However I don’t want to make too much of this. Pele is a legend and finds himself in difficult situations, having to answer questions of all kinds.”
Pele has attacked alot of football icons and even had a go at former Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari during the build up to the 2002 World Cup where Brazil won.
“I believe that Pele knows nothing about football,” Scolari famously said.
“He has done nothing as a coach and all his analysis always turn out to be wrong.
“If you want to win a title, you have to listen to Pele and then do the opposite.”

Pele is just jealous that Ronaldo is better then him.
pele is definitely a little worried that ronaldo will be considered greater than him after this. The world loves ronaldo much more than pele and once ronaldo returns from his third major injury and perfroms like he always does people wll consider him to be a better player. Ronaldo’s got real passion. Every other player would have quit.

To be good in this era you have to a fenomeno and that is Ronaldo. If Pele played now he would not be as good. Ronaldo’s speed and eye for goal is exceptional. I’m not going to take anything away from Pele but I personally think Ronaldo has done more for football then Pele. Ronaldo is like Michael Jordan. All the players entering the European Leagues now all loved and admired Ronaldo growing up eg. Pato, Benzema, Torres. Plus Ronaldo doesn’t go around criticising and giving his 2 cents in every football matter. Pele should stop trying to steal the limelight in other words…..Pele shut the hell up!!!

About you all retards talking about this, Im Brazilian and with pride and honour of my country, and I will tell you one thing about this which you might not know or FEEL. Pelé is the greatest football player there has EVER been, and I’m pretty sure he will continue to be forever. As Kaká once said “After Pelé, it’s Ronaldo in Brazil”, and he’s right, he’s the phenomenon, he gave us lots of joy, but so did Pelé, and Ronaldo is a wonderfully skilled player, gifted by God, and Pelé played on a different time, however, football was played by the same rules, the only difference was that back then, players werent demanded to do so much physical training, and it was more about the joy of the game than about money like it is now. Pelé scored 1282 official goals, he is the younguest world cup champion, he is 3 times world champion. Ronaldo is awesome, I love him, he’s an amazing player, I think he scored around 300 goals, its not my point how many goals they scored, that wouldnt prove one to be better than the other, but I can tell you, you can’t compare then, and Pelé is a legend, Ronaldo is a hero. Also I am a great Milan fan, and I hope Ronaldo comes back and scores lots of goals and plays better than ever, but we’ve gotta be honest, that MIGHT not happen, he’s 33 or 34 I believe, I guess that Pelé was apealing to the average, that most players just dont reach their peak at that age, it wasn’t just for being jealous or some lame reason like that. Of course you all prefer Ronaldo, I mean, this is a Ronaldo fansite, I admire him too, but I am being objective here.
