Ronaldo to recover with Flamengo

Ronaldo heading to Flamengo

Ronaldo is ahead of schedule on his road back to playing football and he is working hard to ensure that he is able to get back as soon as he can.

“I am working four or five hours per day in the hope of recovery,” Ronaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I want to be able to play football on the beach with my friends and to have a normal life. During my last tests in Paris, the doctors gave me the hope and the guarantees that I needed. It’s nearly two months since the operation and the knee is already feeling much better.”

Ronaldo has also expressed his desire to play with Flamengo for a few months before returning to Milan.

“The idea is for me to play a few months in Brazil and, if everything goes well, I’d then go back to Milan,”

“I’m assuming I’ll go to Flamengo,” continued Ronaldo. “I’ve got a very good relationship with Milan. The club will always keep the door open for me, but I need to be up to the challenge.”

Ronaldo has always been a Flamengo supporter from childhood so it would be good to play for a where he can regain morale and motivation while recovering from his injury.

“My time with Real Madrid lasted longer, but the club I really support are Flamengo. It’s incredible how football can generate such excitement and passion. And that’s how I felt as a child too, I was always trying to get the players’ autographs and watching them train.”

“My dad always used to take me to the Maracana to watch Flamengo. At that time Zico was playing for them and they’d always put on a show,”

Ronaldo could be back soon

Ronaldo may return sooner then expected

Ronaldo recovery has been much publicised and majority including Pele has said that the Brazilian will never return. Well guess Pele may be wrong as Ronaldo could be return earlier then expected.

“The MRI and the ultrasound scans have shown that the scarring is healing faster than we expected and the tendon’s also looking very good”, said Ronaldo’s physio, Bruno Mazziotti.

“So far, everything’s looking good, although complications could still occur, delaying his return,” added Mazziotti.

“We’re confident, since the first 45 days were the most critical and he’s come through with flying colours.”

This is good news for football and for all Ronaldo fans.

Ronaldo takes the wheel less than 2 months after surgery

Ronaldo’s speedy recovery is one that has been unexpected across the globe. Many doubters said that the three times World Player of the Year would not return to the pitch after injuring himself in February.

However, It has been under 2 months since he had surgery on his knee and he is able to walk without any crutches. Ronaldo was seen walking around the San Siro during the match against Atalanta. Ronaldo name was also chanted by supporters when they knew he was in the stadium. This is excellent for Ronaldo as it would hugely boost his morale and confidence within Milan and their fans.

Another surprising fact is that Ronaldo has taken the wheel. The striker who has been driven around due to the pain in his knee has been given permission to drive but only near his Milan home. The progress has been incredible and lets hope it continues.
