Phenomenal Recovery

Posted June 3, 2008

What’s left for the phenomenon to achieve? He’s won the greatest titles in football, broken the records, including a spectacular 15 goals in World Cup tournaments.

Yet everything indicates that the super-striker wishes to come back to the spotlight.

Ronaldo’s doctors have informed him that he could be running again as early as July. This comes only three months after undergoing surgery.

“We would normally expect him to be back running in August,” Ronaldo’s physiotherapist, Bruno Mazziotti, said after meeting with the player and his doctors in France last week.

“But his recovery is going surprisingly well, and the tests have impressed the medical team. You’ll see Ronaldo running again in July.”

“We did an MRI and other tests so Dr. Saillant could examine the angle of the patella and how the tendon is settling. The results were good.”

Ronaldo’s progress is so good that he was told that there was no need to return to Paris for monthly checkups. The Brazilian superstar has been told to continue his treatment in Rio de Janeiro and to return to France for his next appointment in August.

Grateful are the fans currently starving for football at this phenomenal level.

Can the great legend of the sport really make one more comeback? They’ve ruled him out before, only to watch him once again raise trophies.
