Since Ronaldo’s injury in February there has been much speculation on whether or not Milan would renew Ronaldo’s contract. Just last week at the French Grand Prix Ronaldo was asked the question and his response was negative to the fact that he would have preferred more contact from Milan besides the occasional call from Leonardo.
In response Galliani has stated that he has tried calling Ronaldo and is willing to give Ronaldo another chance under certain conditions - eat less and train more.
“I have tried to call Ronaldo on his mobile but he is not answering,” said Galliani.
“Ronaldo has the sympathy from everyone at Milan and, to be honest, he needs to lose some weight. “He has to train hard and prepare himself as well as make sacrifices.
“Therefore, if the conditions are right, we well see what we can do with him.”
