Media skepticises over Ronaldo’s night out in Sao Paulo

Posted January 25, 2009

The media skepticised Ronaldo after being pictured out in Sao Paulo early Friday night. A nighclub goer took the picture of Ronaldo with his friends in Itaim Bibi in Sao Paulo.

Ronaldo has a reputation of being out until the early hours and this was highly publicised while he was at Real. Ronaldo has not reached match fitness preventing him from being available for the club. The picture where Ronaldo is in a white shirt clearly shows that the player is still overweight.

Contrary to the pictures, technical director of the Corinthians Football Club, Antonio Carlos Zago stated that Ronaldo has lost close to 5-6 kilos since joining the club. The announcement came after trying to avoid any skepticism after Ronaldo went out with his friends on Thursday to enjoy a night on the Sao Paulo town. Zago claims that there are no problems what soever with the player having a little fun.

He continued to state that Ronaldo has been working extremely hard to gain back his fitness and his weight is under close scrutinity from the club.

Maybe the T-Shirt that Ronaldo was wearing was an XXXL…who knows.

^but the difference they are fit and available for their clubs. the media are always going to be more harsh on a player that is overweight, because it is most unprofesional

But they should not make it an issue….
they should not treat Ronaldo like that….

We all now how mass media is. Just a little deviation and you’re all over the papers. But even I, one of the biggest fan of Ronaldo, I’m starting to doubt about his form. I don’t know…

I believe in Ronaldo. I’m sure that he will do everything to pove once again his abilities. I don’t think he did something wrong by going out with friens. He is free and can do whatever he wishes!

People just need to accept that you aint ever going to see a Barca/Inter Ronaldo again…

The best we’ll probably see Ronaldo get to is at 2007 milan season before his (minor) muscle issue. He was running around with easy and looked in great shape 2003/2004 style.
