Ronaldo after being slammed by the Corinthians for spending late Thursday night at “Pop Drinks,” an adult entertainment club has returned to the training pitch saturday to redeem himself.
He managed to score three goals and showed his coach and his team mates flashes of his brilliance in front of 5,000 hardcore fans.
The next game will be against Marilia but Ronaldo will not take part in the game as the coach wants Ronaldo to make his debut against rivals Palmeiras on the 8th of March.
Corinthians are currently one point behind first place Palmeiras in the Paulista State Championship.

hmmm, good news obviously, but could be risky throwing a player hasn’t played for over a year into one of corinthians biggest games of the season against palmeiras, i would have thought he would play no more than 10 mins in his first game back, otherwise he will just get injured again, mark my words.

Good thing is that he isn’t afraid to show off his belly which means his confident that he’s not fat.
He is not that fat. I mean common, he hasn’t played football for over a year. Give him a break. He will return to the top of world football cuz he still got the magic in his feet.
I have to admit – he doesn’t look that bad considering he has only been back training for a short while… still got a way to go – but he def hasn’t lost it!!!! Go Ronaldo!!!

the clothes he is given to wear can give the illusion that the player is big.His shorts are quite long and baggy which makes him look bigger.
If they were higher and tighter he would look thinner.

I don’t agree pioneer, Dunga played with Ronaldo on the same team and respects him as a player, this is what he said after not calling up Ronaldo fro Copa America in 2007, “We know that we can count on him when we need him, so we want to give a chance to some other players ” However, that was before the sex scandal and the injury…This is what he said when Ronaldo was playing well for AC Milan in 2007, “‘We are watching and observing him and as soon as his performances interest us and he is near to his best, he will be selected.” So based on those comments, it looks like Dunga would prefer to play someone else instead of Ronaldo but, if Ronaldo makes a succesful comeback from the injury, it will be hard to say ‘no’ since the main reason Ronnie even decided to continue playing was to try to make the WC team. If I was a betting man, I’d say that one way or another, Ronaldo will end up on Brazil’s plane heading to South Africa in June 2010.
Yeah Dunga is a C**k. When he took over he was all like I’m going to give the youngsters a shot and snubbed Kaka, Ronaldinho, Lucio and Adriano. Then when they started losing most of the World Cup Qualifying games and couldn’t even score in the friendlies he started reverted back to a team that included Ronaldinho, Kaka, Lucio and Adriano and now they are winning. They beat Italy just recently with an older team.
I think if Ronaldo performs and scores then he should be included in the squad but as long as Dunga is coach I don’t think that would be the case.
Trezeguet is having that problem right now.
Yeah…well, even though Ronaldo has dug a big hole for himself, there’s still over a year for him to prove Dunga that he belongs on the team, he has to perform well on the field, and also not make any mistakes (unlike recently) off it.
