Ronaldo's fifth goal for the season

Ronaldo scored his fifth goal for the season helping his team see past Ituano 3-0. With the return of Dentinho and Jorge Henrique from injury, the Corinthians had more attacking options and it didn’t take long for them to take advantage of it as Henrique headed a goal 2 minutes into the first half. Twenty minutes later Alessandro found Ronaldo free inside the box and the phenomenon made no mistakes as he netted his fifth for the season. Then at the 41st minute, a free kick awarded to Ronaldo was taken by Christian who sent a rocket past the keeper.

In the second half both teams had their chances but could not convert any of them. Ronaldo had another great game and looked surprisingly active despite leaving the pitch exhausted against Guarani. R9 even showed us one of his old moves which pleased the crowd.

The Corinthians face Mirassol next on the 5th April.

@Pionner. Yes Ronaldo played the whole game and he was a lot more active then he was in the previous game. He was even seen in his own half for once…lol.

He tried to beat two defenders with a clever flick bu his speed let him down. Hopefully a few more games and he will get his speed back.
