There were no problems between him and Rivaldo says Ronaldo
In an interview with O Globo, Luiz Felipe Scolari revealed that Ronaldo and Rivaldo both wanted to be top scorers and refused to pass the ball to eachother in despite of this.
However, Ronaldo has denied any problems between him and Rivaldo during the World Cup in 2002.
‘What I remember this did not exist so when I read about it I was in shock,’ said Ronaldo.
Big Phil also said that he had to lock both players in separate locker rooms to resolve the problem but Ronaldo has also denied this as well.
‘If I was a coach I wouldn’t be upset if both attackers were eager to score goals. I don’t know what he expected from us,’ added Ronaldo.
