After the winning the Copa do Brasil and returning to the Copa Libertadores, the Corinthians began to think about 2010, the year of its centennial. One of the unanswered questions next year is the renewal of Ronaldo’s contract. Mano Menezes remains confident that Ronaldo will be with the team in 2010.
‘I have a good feeling that he will continue, Ronaldo has had a great recovery here and it is the right place for him to continue to grow. I am absolutely certain that he will stay,’ said Menezes.
The confidence of Mano is the same of President Andrés Sanches. On Wednesday, after winning the Copa do Brasil, the President said that there is a great chance of Ronaldo staying, especially after the qualifying for the Copa Libertadores next year.
Ronaldo previously revealed that he would prefer to wait until December before making a decision but he did reassure the President of Brazil the he would not be returning to Europe.
The president also asked Ronaldo whether he intends to return to European football in the future, and the striker was very clear with his response: “My days in Europe are history.”

knowing ronaldo he will probably go to flamengo or someone, just because he says he will not go to europe it doesn’t mean he will stay with corinthians, i’m not saying he will but that is what he likes do every once in a while.
christian vieri is having trials with blackburn and he is almost 36, ryan giggs won best premier league player and he is similar age. i fully expect ronaldo to continue playing next year as he will be just 33, not many professionals quit at 33, only the ones who cannot cope like patrick kluivert. currently time is still just about on ronaldo’s side. i hope he makes the most of it.
saying that, ronaldo has had an unbelievably tight schedule of games, and coupled with the fact he had just comeback to the game, i am hoping that it was this that was preventing him from reaching peak condition. now we will see if he can improve his fitness.
I agree NAU , if he didnt say nothing he would probably stay with Corinthians but when he says he will stay something is probably cooking.
Call me crazy but I think that he will go in January in Atletico Madrid .
Also I think Ronaldo and Dunga are friends and have a lot of respect for each other and I ( again lol ) think that Dunga said to him stay here ( Corinthians ) ,score goals , get in shape and you will be in squad for WC.
You have shit on place of the brain.
Just in time of Libertadores and 100th birth Ronaldo isnt a sucker to go out.
Flamengo history is finished.
That team dont have capacity for achieve titles in present times.
A player like Ronaldo dont have much more time to restart his victorious roadmap within a national team.
Ronaldo has a really funny smiling.People say that he is the smiling face of football.:)
he shuld go to man utd like owen
yeah if owen could play 4 utd then ronaldo could go chelsea
I also thought about Chelsea being a good club for Ronaldo, but I don’t know if it would work with Ancelotti,if they would want to work together again?
