Ronaldo arrives in Madrid
Ronaldo recently arrived in Madrid to sort out some personal issues and could not escape the persistance of the local press. The Spanish journalist camped outside the hotel where Ronaldo was staying and managed to get a few questions answered from the former Real Madrid player.
In a conversation with the “Daily AS,” Ronaldo praised Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo but denied any rumours that he would return as part of the Real Madrid board, a promise he made to Florentino during a friendly that Ronaldo held with close friend Zidane.
“I do not think of returning to Real Madrid. I have a great relationship with the club and more specifically with Florentino. But I am a player and thus do not see working for Real Madrid,” said Ronaldo.
Ronaldo also praised Kaka stating that his “friend” is doing “wonders at Real.”

Ronaldo has responded to Cristiano Ronaldo wearing his old shirt at Madrid.
“I’ve seen that he’s taken my number and my name,” said Ronaldo.
“I like that. He has a name too, so he could choose what he wanted.”
“Tell him he can do very well with that shirt and with that number. He is a very great player. It goes without saying how important he is and how well he plays football,” added Ronaldo.
