In some pictures he looks frustrated. I hope the fact he has another son doesn’t harm his relatoinship with Bia. I mean it was before he knew her,but I hope he told her about it before the media did because Ronaldo’s mother and father said they knew about the story through the media,even he got an intimation a few days before,on Sep. 17th.
By the way Mano is confident Ronaldo will score on Sunday against their arch-rivals. I hope the coach is right!

Adrinao is not 100% fit,but I have nothing against the fact Dunga gives Adriano a chance,but I’m just pissed off he gives Ronaldo not a chance after everything he has done for Corinthians. He even called up Tardelli. Who is this guy? Adriano can play one game and score and he gets a chance but Ronaldo can win two titles in four months and Dunga doesn’t care! Why?! Because of his belly?! He can’t be serious!!!
As I said always_ Dunga doesn’t care how great Ronaldo plays or how his weight is,he just doesn’t want him. Here he says someone new would unbalance the team and he is not going to change the team,because they won already together and he doesn’t want someone else (Ronaldo) in this team anymore.

on that Portuguese website nameless, there is a poll, should ronaldo be named in the selecao? and 49% said yes and 51% said no!!?? i thought everyone like ronaldo, obviously not.
why is the team being announced now anyway if the games aren’t till october? ronaldo neve stood a chance as all he had was one game since july.

from this it looks like dunga is already saying that it is unlikely ronaldo will feature in world cup squad…..lame. should we just give up hope?
unless ronaldo moves to a european club or a club with some ambition (corinthians lost any ambition they had by selling their best players)it is going to be hard to be enthusiastic about watching him lose for corinthians every week, when we score, one of the main reasons why we love it is because it is a step in the right direction for being called up for the squad. when ronaldo was severely overweight and moved to corinthians he basically signed off the world’s radar for brazilian league mediocrity.

And pumting, you are right, especially brazilian sites write Dunga has made a hint that Ronaldo won’t be called up for the NT.His weight or performances doesn’t matter for Dunga. He said he has no intention to change the team because they won already a few things and a new player (and he meant Ronaldo,this is obvious) would unbalance the team. That’s what he said a few days ago and after the call up too. He didn’t mention Ronaldo directly but it was clear who he means. Unlike Ronaldinho who is doing nothing for Milan,was praised by Dunga and he said he hopes to see him back in the NT,but he said nothing about Ronaldo,not about his performances,his goals,his weight,NOTHING! That’s what I always meant, Dunga doesn’t want Ronaldo,it’s a personal matter. Dunga always lied regarding Ronaldo,he always said Ronaldo should play regularly and score goals,or he said he knows what Ronaldo is capable of and wants to test other players,and now he is saying Ronaldo would unbalance the team. But nevertheless,even I’m pissed off with Dunga’s choice today and in general to not call up Ronaldo, I have a feeling it will go the right way for Ronaldo and he will play in WC2010. I don’t know how it will happen but I have a strong, good feeling.I had the same feeling regarding Dunga when he was named the NT coach. I felt he would be a problem for Ronaldo. But I know something good will happen in favour of Ronaldo and he will play in the WC2010! Mark my words!

Nameless you are right NO RONALDO NO WORLD CUP FOR BRAZIL maybe brazil thinks they can just come here to SA again and win the WC like they did with the Confed Cup – they battled to win it they had to work hard and half the teams that will be in the WC was not in the Confed Cup. So if brazil happen to fail he is out he thinks he can approach the WC with no experience shame on him – you see watch out for the italians they keep proving this time and time again at the WC it will be interesting to see what happens !! I also red what Dunga said on O Globo and its very clear even now in September that Dunga does NOT count on Ronaldo.
I hope Ronaldo calls Dunga and asks ” Is there a chance or not ” if asnwer is negative , he should play till his contract expires in December and enjoy your life Fenomeno.
If Ronaldo goes to Europe I think he will have two squads , one is AS Roma and for me better one becuase leauge suits him is Atletico Madrid .
Im not blaming Dunga becuase as I said you have guys who have been playing this qualifications for 3 years and it would be unfair to anybody to not participate in World Cup for someone who didnt help to qualify.Even if its for gratest striker of all time .

1. Dunga is blaming Ronaldo for losing in France 1998 Finals.
2 and very interesting and I bealive in it : is that Dunga and also CBFs Presifent dont want Ronaldo becuase of Pele… they probably want to save image of Pele as greatest ever and if they call Ronaldo and they know they will have motiveted Ronaldo like never , he will shurley score 3-5 goals and if Brasil wins the Cup he will be the new O Rei in Brasil – RONALDO .
Thats why these pricks dont want Ronaldo in a team .

I completely agree with you R9R9. what else would be the reason not to call up Ronaldo who was the main factor in Corinthian’s both silverware this season. I mean that bastard Dunga or rather Donkey didn’t even give R9 one chance to show his worth for the national team since 06 meanwhile Maradona just picked a 35 year old Ortega for the last two qualifiers.
Its all over, I lost all hope, I can’t even imagine a world cup without Ronaldo

You are maybe right R9R9,but I think another reason is if Dunga calls Ronaldo up and he scores a lot of goals and they win everybody would think they won because of Ronaldo,if they win without Ronaldo they would say it’s because Dunga build a great squad and was tough enough to leave “fat” Ronaldo at home.I also really believe Dunga thinks Ronaldo is the reason why they didn’t won WC98 and now he wants to do it without Ronaldo,he is still pissed off. But he doesn’t think about the fact they got to the WC98 final BECAUSE OF RONALDO!!!

Dunga called up Tardelli and Nilmar, was Nilmar at Confed Cup?Did he play? Did they play any qualification matches (I know Nilmar played one)?Tardelii didn’t! Who is Tardelli?! Adriano also wasn’t at Confed Cup and had just 2 or 3 qualification matches and he couldn’t convince, but he wants Adriano. Ronaldinho was also not there (did he play qulaif. matches?) but Dunga is desperate to have Ronaldinho back in the NT. And when Ronaldo was in the NT a few years ago he also helped to win Confed Cup and Southamerica Cup and qulaification games,but other players were called up too for the NT,even if it was as a sub.
The disgusting thing is Dunga DOESN’T CARE how Ronaldo is playing and how his shape is,otherwise he would have said it! First he said Ronaldo should play regularly and score goals and Ronaldo did what he wanted from him and now he says he doesn’t want him (the person) Ronaldo in his team because he would unbalance the team! I really don’t think it is up to him if Dunga doesn’t want him in the team. He said a new player would unbalance the team and everybody knows he was referring to Ronaldo. He talked about players he didn’t call up and said he is waiting for them,but he said nothing about Ronaldo,only he would unbalance the team. So how can it be up to him? I really don’t think Dunga would call him up if he loses 10kg and scores every game. But I hope you are right. Anyway, he will make it to the WC2010,with or without Dunga!

We can now just be patient , becuase if Ronaldo gets in form and starts scoring , Dunga will have a lot on his back – Brasil people and Brasils president , so we will see what will happen.
But I lost a little hope becuase I was 100% shure he will call Ronaldo for last two games in qualifications but he didnt and that says a lot.
I also read Ronaldo didnt train yesterday in afternoon becuase he is feeling pain in his knee. And caoch said that it wasnt becuase of that but becuase he needs rest – gimme a break he wasnt training for two motnh properly and now he needs a rest .He is confirmed for derby but when I hear ” Ronaldo felt pain in his knee ” I get blackness on my eyes .

dunga writing ronaldo off, and hinting that he isn’t going to pick him whatever happens coupled with the fact that ronaldo is having pains in his knee, could this mean ronaldo may call it a day? i hope not, but he may not want to risk another terrible injury if he knows he is never going to get picked for brazil again. the only good thing is that if ronaldo is not picked for the world cup, we can all hope brazil fail badly so they will remember that they should have picked ronaldo, though this is not much of a consolation for us ronaldo fans, we want him there!!

I really don’t think it is up to him if Dunga doesn’t want him in the team. He said a new player would unbalance the team and everybody knows he was referring to Ronaldo. He talked about players he didn’t call up and said he is waiting for them,but he said nothing about Ronaldo,only he would unbalance the team. So how can it be up to him? I really don’t think Dunga would call him up if he loses 10kg and scores every game. But I hope you are right. Anyway, he will make it to the WC2010,with or without Dunga!
Damn,Dunga clearly doesn’t want Ronaldo on the team.And he calls up players like this Tardelli guy…I’ve never heard of him.
We can now just be patient , becuase if Ronaldo gets in form and starts scoring , Dunga will have a lot on his back – Brasil people and Brasils president , so we will see what will happen.
But I lost a little hope becuase I was 100% shure he will call Ronaldo for last two games in qualifications but he didnt and that says a lot.
I also read Ronaldo didnt train yesterday in afternoon becuase he is feeling pain in his knee. And caoch said that it wasnt becuase of that but becuase he needs rest – gimme a break he wasnt training for two motnh properly and now he needs a rest .He is confirmed for derby but when I hear ” Ronaldo felt pain in his knee ” I get blackness on my eyes .
dunga writing ronaldo off, and hinting that he isn’t going to pick him whatever happens coupled with the fact that ronaldo is having pains in his knee, could this mean ronaldo may call it a day? i hope not, but he may not want to risk another terrible injury if he knows he is never going to get picked for brazil again. the only good thing is that if ronaldo is not picked for the world cup, we can all hope brazil fail badly so they will remember that they should have picked ronaldo, though this is not much of a consolation for us ronaldo fans, we want him there!!
