Personal Problems causes Ronaldo to miss training

Posted November 27, 2009

According to coach Mano Menezes, ronaldo was released from training to resolve some personal issues. However, the coach has confirmed that Ronaldo will play on Sunday.

“He had family problems and if unable to resolve by noon or thereabouts he will do the training in the afternoon. Either way he will play,” said Menezes.

Mano and the board of the Corinthians did not want to go into more detail about the absence of the phenomenon.

    I hope nothing worse happened.
I just saw an interview of Zidane on CNN World Sport and he was saying again Ronaldo is the best he ever played with and against, because of his way of playing and especially because of the things he did in training which were amazing. He said every day it was something new from Ronaldo,he did things with the ball he couldn’t believe. He also said Ronaldo is the best and will always be the no.1!
He was also asked about the worst situation in his career and he said (surely) the end of his career (headbutting Materazzi).

This article says Adriano will probably miss the match against Corinthians because of an infection.

  3. nameless on November 27th, 2009 6:15 pm

They say it’s an infection in his foot and it didn’t heal until today so he won’t play Sunday.

  4. Fenton on November 27th, 2009 6:26 pm

lol thats probably the biggest possible match adriano could miss….

Flamengo will just have to support R9 instead :-D

  5. Fenton on November 27th, 2009 6:34 pm

In that video, on 06/07/2009 ronaldo looks SLIMMER than in 10/11/2009.

R9 was getting into good shape before he broke his hand damnit….

  8. PZ on November 27th, 2009 8:20 pm

i just looked at the video. when the question was asked, Zidane answered ” without hesitation, RONALDO is the best.” that moment was just great, and it goes to show the people who love and respect RONALDO.
    R9

  9. PZ on November 27th, 2009 8:34 pm

oh btw, i think R9 should go back to the VAPORS… he made those things famous

  10. zox on November 27th, 2009 8:38 pm

one thing this video does show is that he really hasn’t lost any weight since he started playing, in the latest video his head looks the biggest also with a double chin, though his stamina is probably better, it does baffle me as it probably does with most of us. it also worries me because dunga has an easy and good excsuse not to take ronaldo if he is visibly overweight. he said he will not make the same mistake of wc 2006, by this he must mean not taking an overweight ronaldo..
