    Until 2003 it was elected by the coaches of the national teams, each selecting three players
    who obtain respectively 5, 3 and 1 points.

    ronaldo here comes the second in all time ranking coz he didi not play fully in 1999, 2000and 2001 coz of injuries so he was not in top ten thats why zidane over teks him…..

    but he came back again despite the goldenball in 1998 he won a silverball 2002 and meks him the all time winner….. than any1 other just won the golden only other golden and bronze like maradona, but he has golden and silver ranking him the all time..
