Ronaldo against Flamengo

Ronaldo will have to work in the first week of vacation after suffering an injury to his right thigh. On Tuesday, Ronaldo will have an MRI to determin the extent of the injury and to work out a recovery plan.
According to Bruno Mazziotti, the injury is a grade one to two.

“An assessment was made after the game and a stretch of grade one to two was found. Nothing too serious. Tuesday will be the ultrasound to confirm it. The procedure is now four days of rest. The he will sacrifice a little vacation to come back better in pre-season,” said Bruno Mazziotti.

Ronaldo will not play the last game of the season, ending his season with 38 games and 23 goals.

Not bad news if the injury is really not that serious. We can be optimistic, now he has some rest and then his body is ready for the rehab. lol
This was his last game this season. And when I look back to the whole season and what Ronaldo suffered with his injuries and even he was not fully fit I have to say: Well done Ronaldo! Who would have believed this comeback if you told them before? I would,I always believed in him and I know you guys did it too! Where are his embarrassing critics from all over the world now?! Where is the sleazy media who just made up stories and did jokes? It’s easy to point out the finger but it’s very difficult to admit they did a mistake! I know guys,if no injuries happens he will be in much better shape next season! I can feel it! lol

most of the media said he is finished at the highest level. everyone guessed he would be able to look after himself in the brazilian league, whether he proves his critics wrong is if he gets into the brazil squad. scoring goals for corinthians and still being overweight has not yet covered him. it’s still great after his injuries and off the field problems. and also, i thought ronaldo was going to train hard before the season to get in better shape? that isn’t going to happen with vacations, i know he is entitled to a vacation like all players, but he has ambitions, and if this weight doesn’t go in the pre season, when will it go? we have already seen that he cannot lose weight during a season.

    38 games and 23 goals

Thats not bad for an overweight unfit striker with 3x career ending knee injuries!

Not bad at all.Still,I feel sorry, because if it hadn’t been for that stupid hand injury,R9 would have played more games…

Your right that is a good record but imagine how much better it would be if he really applied himself and was focused and commited,

he needs to work so Hard during the off season, get in shape and work on his fitness and speed training, we all know he can finish,

next season could possibly be his last ever, and it would be a dream if he could play in the World cup too.

    ALOT of work is needed.

at this level in Brasil he could easily score 40 plus goals a season.

He was very focused and committed, otherwise he couldn’t have had such a great comeback. I want to show you something.

This was before his hand injury and he looked really good, but it was the fact he had to be out for 2 months that gave him a setback. If he works hard to come back after a career ending injury then he won’t just sit around and isn’t focused because then his comeback has no sense. He came back because he wanted to play and win,not because he wanted to cash some checks.

It’s not like he was 100% but he was better than after his innjury and without the hand injury he would look much fitter now.

Ronaldo has an injury of level 2,but he is getting a treatment which shall accelerate the recovery.I didn’t understand the treatment really but it sounds like the one he got in Brazil after he had a muscle starin at Milan. They can’s says when he is recovered.

ronaldo injured again wut a surprise. He needs to train real hard instead of standing around smiling while in practice.

  10. nameless on December 1st, 2009 3:18 pm

Yes, Ronaldo is always smiling and not training because that’s what we see here. Or maybe, they just show the “funny” pics because other pics, of training in the gym e.g., are too boring to print in the newspapers. But that’s just an idea. lol
