something just occurred to me about the skill that ronaldo did at 1:15 in the video and that is that if it had been cristiano who did that you guys would be calling him cocky and arrogant. fanboys can be such damn hypocrites.

  2. NAU on December 11th, 2009 2:26 pm

it’s such a shame that some of the dialogue from the video is not actually about ronaldo but it is put in the video to sound like they are talking about ronaldo.

  3. guest on December 11th, 2009 4:53 pm

At 1:15 Corinthians were leading and wanted the clock to run down + the scene is shown in slowmotion in this video – so it may seem a bit arrogant, but in real time the scene was faster… and Ronaldo did not wanted to loose the ball, so Corinthians would not have run into a conter just a few minutes before the end of the game.

p2p,don’t write a bullshits and DO NOT compare THE PHENOMENOM with this joke Cristina.

  5. p2p on December 12th, 2009 7:17 am

guest i know why he was doing it, i am just saying that when cirstiano does similar things people here call him arrogant and pretty much every swear word under the sun, i am an arsenal fan, so i don’t like cristiano, but some of the hypocrisy i see makes me sick. my comment was not about ronaldo or cristiano, it was about the hypocrites i see.

    thanks for the video Peter

I never read anyone here criticising Cristiano because of some tricks and skills, p2p.If people here criticise him then because he is an arrogant and disrespectful person, especially towards Ronaldo, otherwise he wouldn’t have taken the no. 9 shirt and put “Ronaldo” without a “C” in front of it.Or at least he would have said something respectful to Ronaldo after he took the no.9 and the only name “Ronaldo” at RM. His behaviour was very disrespectful and I think that’s the main reason why some people here don’t like him. But it has nothing to do with the question which skills he has or what tricks he does.

Guys,do you believe Ronaldinho said, now,at milan he is maybe even stronger than at Barcelona??? I don’t think he said this or if yes,he didn’t really mean it! At Milan he has some moments, but he lacks consistency, but at Barca he was really great for 2 years.
And at the end he asks how Dunga can’t call him up. He can’t believe it. I don’t think he said all these things. If he said it than he really overrate his current situation.

NAU: A lot of the commentary is about Ronaldo. But some of it isn’t.

Here is another interview with Ronaldinho and the 2nd question is about which footballer Ronaldinho would put on his list of the best of the last decade and he said “first of all Ronaldo, then Rivaldo,Roberto Carlos,Henry,Zidane,Del Piero”.

  11. NAU on December 13th, 2009 8:24 am

col, that is why i said “some of the dialogue”.

  12. zox on December 13th, 2009 8:07 pm

ronaldo doesnt possess a monopoly on his name. and ronaldinho is indeed awesome and plays wonderfully recently and deserves a call up for brazil. anyone who is baffled at ronaldinhos bid to get back in the selecao and at the same time supports ronaldo or thinks that he should be there is either a complete moron or a hypocrite.

btw, anyone thinks that corinthians’ transfers are a bit disapointing. i mean they were announcing riquelme, speculating ronaldinho, guti and in the end they end up with tcheco who is older than ronaldo and probably worse than douglas or defederico. with this ambition libertadores seems to still be just a distant dream and with that ronaldo for brazil

  13. badboy on December 14th, 2009 1:56 am

Zox,don’t tell people who is hypocrite or moron, cause it’s seems to me that you are both, because you are posting comments in Ronaldo’s fan site, claiming about prefering Ronaldinho in South Africa.Of course Roni is great too, but for the real fans Ronaldo is the only one,the king.So if you are not sure about your preferences, just find someone else’s fan site to write.

  14. nameless on December 14th, 2009 9:16 am

chill out badboy, stop acting like a child, people should be allowed to express their opinions without being set upon. and also, there was no hypocrisy in what he said.

  15. zox on December 14th, 2009 10:44 am

if i had to choose i’d obviously prefer ronaldo, in any shape too. but thats the emotion speaking, reason says that ronaldinho deserves it much more on merit of form. dinho has every right to demand a place while ronaldo himself says that at the moment he wouldnt pick himself. so its kinda ridiculous to be shocked at ronaldinho’s bid for the selecao and to claim ronaldo deserves it.

  16. badboy on December 14th, 2009 10:47 am

If their opinion is abusive like this:

“anyone who is baffled at ronaldinhos bid to get back in the selecao and at the same time supports ronaldo or thinks that he should be there is either a complete moron or a hypocrite”

They are not allowed to express it here.
Also it is hipocricy because one real Ronaldo fan can’t say that.
What do you mean “acting like a child” ?
I’m just defending my point of view,do you think that’s childish?

  17. badboy on December 14th, 2009 10:50 am

About that statement of Ronaldo “at the moment he wouldnt pick himself” this is more because he is modest, and that’s a good quality in most of the time.

  18. zox on December 14th, 2009 11:12 am

so a ronaldo fan can’t be objective and has to diss other players just so ronaldo would look good? right. and if you recognized yourself in my earlier statement its not my fault. ronaldinho deserves to return to the selecao, and hopefully ronaldo will also soon. its not modesty by ronaldo saying that he wouldn’t pick himself, its being real.

  19. nameless on December 14th, 2009 12:49 pm

Badboy, someone who thinks he is funny replied to one of your comments in my name but I just wanted to say it’s not me.Must be someone who loves me so much that he thinks we are one! So,sorry in the name of the REAL nameless! lol
Ronaldinho doesn’t deserve to be called up at the moment. At Milan he has just moments, but he is very inconsistent,he has some good games and more bad games,it’s an up and down,so I really don’t understand how he can think he deserves to be called up at the moment! Ronaldo does much more for his team than Ronaldinho and surely Ronaldo deserves more to be called up than Ronaldinho! Even with his current shape Ronaldo deserves more to be called up,he does much more than Dinho, that’s a fact! And for the WC it’s more important if you can help your team a lot or not than in which shape you are,so therefore if the WC would be NOW and Dunga had to decide between them (I know one is striker and one midfielder,so they don’t compete with each other) but I’m convinced Dunga would call up Ronaldo,at least every good coach would prefer Ronaldo at the moment more than Ronaldinho. And in contrary to Dinho Ronaldo is realistic enough to see that at the moment he doesn’t deserve to be called up because of his shape.Dinho should learn to be realistic too.

  20. zox on December 14th, 2009 1:46 pm

sorry to say this, but thats just pathetic. ronaldinho right now is one of the most in form players in europe, thats right in the top competition not brazil and he has more sheer ability and talent than probably any player on the planet bar ronaldo. ronaldo on the other hand plays in brazil which is like miles stepdown from ronaldinho’s level, overweight and not even there is he the best striker. give me a break. of course id pick ronaldo cos i love him more but ronaldo deserving it and ronaldinho not is laughable. whats next, rivaldo getting called up instead of kaka? sure, kaka is inconsistent for madrid, cristiano plays better, while rivaldo scores bucketloads and is carrying thatr uzbekistani team of his.

  21. nameless on December 14th, 2009 1:58 pm

zox,5-10 good games a season don’t make Dinho a player who really deservs to eb called up! Dinho’s current form is totally overrated,he is very inconsistent and that’s a fact,he can’t play many games on a great level, but Ronaldo was very very consistent for his team and helped them much more than Dinho can do now! If someone deserves to be called up than Ronaldo more than Dinho! And don’t come with this brazilian league argument! If the brazilian league would be so bad,Dunga wouldn’t call up players from the brazilian league to the NT! He evne called up Nilmar when he played in Brazil Brazil. Also Tardelli plays in Brazil. That’s not an argument! Dinho has to play great in most of the agmes, but that’s not the case. To have some good games then and when is not enough for the NT!

  22. nameless on December 14th, 2009 2:04 pm

AC Milan’s management is unbelievably stupid!!! Now,they are trying to buy an out and out striker in January to play with Pato and Dinho after they bought Huntelaar and got back Boriello and Sheva and obviously nothing really worked! (By the way,I thought they have no money?) I’m more than convinced they regret totally to not have Ronaldo in their team! Imagine they could have had Ronaldo,Dinho and Pato in the attack! Nobody can tell me they don’t regret to not have Ronaldo anymore in their team!!! Ronaldo is known as the best goalmachine! At AC Milan he scored being overweight and with pain in his legs.Everybody knows Ronaldo can score like nobody else, even Dunga said it a few times. But don’t get me wrong,I thank GOD for the fact Ronaldo decided to not go back to AC Milan because I guess there he would have had an injury nightmare again thanks MilanLab! The decision to go to Corinthians was the best decision, although I wanted him in the EPL.But it’s AC Milan’s problem. But decisions like this make this management even more ridiculous!

  24. Col on December 14th, 2009 10:27 pm

ZOX – Stop saying THAT’S A FACT. Because what you’re saying is not fact. Do you know who has the leading assists in Serie A this yr? RONALDINHO. He has EIGHT assists.. and he’s not doing much for his team???? Ronaldinho has been Milans best player this season and is a big part of the reason that they are playing well again. Ronaldinho deserves to be in Selecao more than Kaka right now so quit with your Ronaldo fanboyism and be realistic.

  25. Kenny on December 15th, 2009 6:10 am

It’s senseless to compare Ronaldo to Ronaldinho, because they play different positions, saying that, although Ronaldo is the best player ever, Ronaldinho deserves to be in the team more. even more so than Kaka, he’s playing at a higher lever in a harder league, and he has more natural talent and experience than Kaka. Honestly the reason Ronaldo should be on the team is more like a career achievement award, because we wanna see our legend get a proper send off on the internation stage. But honestly Ronaldo is overweight and he is playing in a sup par league.he needs to at least lose 10 kg and show the same motivation he had back in ’02

  26. S-Dub on December 15th, 2009 7:23 am

thanks for the money Josh :)

  27. Col on December 15th, 2009 8:06 am

Brazil at the moment should be

    FABIANO
    RONALDINHO PATO
    KAKA
Could you image though, if all fit..

    RONALDO
    RONALDINHO PATO
    KAKA

I would hate to defend against that!

  28. nameless on December 15th, 2009 12:19 pm

Kenny, you are right we can’t really compare them but you also said Dinho plays in a tougher league than Kaka,I don’t think that’s true. I think the spanish and the premier league are the best,I don’t rate the italian league very high, I have to say.The italian league isn’t what it used to be.
But from what I saw from Dinho and Ronaldo for their own teams I have to say Ronaldo did much more for his team and especially he was very regular, consistent,Dinho wasn’t.Dinho has his moments, but he isn’t doing that much for his team except some passes. Therefore he doesn’t deserve at the moment to be called up.If Dunga expects a lot from Ronaldo he also has to expect a lot from Dinho because these players are great and Dunga wants them to show how great they are.In Ronaldo’s case it’s especially his fitness, but in Dinho’s case it’s his all-over-game,his inconsistency, which makes Dunga to not call him up at the moment.I think Dunga expects more form Dinho.
