Farah believes the ‘Warrior’ has returned

Posted February 16, 2010

Ronaldo’s new look takes us back to the days when Ronaldo was Brazil’s number 9. According to his agent Fabio Farah, Ronaldo’s new look means that the warrior has returned.

“The warrior has returned back to the World. It was injured but not killed. It’s recognised worldwide. It conjures up the image of overcoming struggles, reborn from its own ashes. It is independent of gender, culture or ethnicity,” said Farah.

Ronaldo was always going to shave his hair but was unable to as he had a contract with a Swiss hair brand. The contract ended last year and Ronaldo planned to shave his hair to represent the start of a new era.

“The only priority Ronaldo within the script of 2010, is the Libertadores and the World Cup,” added Farah.

Although the squad has been named for the last international friendly before the World Cup, Farah believes that there squad can still change.

“Nothing is impossible in the life story of Ronaldo. Three doctors said that it would not be possible to return but he returned to play. The Cup is a natural consequence of the club. The Dunga is a very intelligent person and is conducting all with great excellence. He has said that Ronaldo is to be tested,” concluded Farah.

Thanks for all the news you put fot the ones who dont know to read and understand portugese.

But your translation is incorrect .

Mistakes are that Farah didnt say Dunga said Ronaldo is to be tested but he said Dunga already said Ronaldo DOESNT need to be tested and he said that metaforicly for all players not only for Ronaldo.

And also Farah said Ronaldos priorities are Corinthians , Libertadores and World Chapionship of Clubes .

  4. the real nameless on February 16th, 2010 4:45 pm

What do you mean with he meant it metaphorically for all players, not only for Ronaldo,R9R9?

  5. Barnaba on February 16th, 2010 4:48 pm

YEAH! Great to see ROnaldo`s head bald. It always symbolised sth. special. Hopefully this new look takes him back to fly like once ;-9

If his agent talks like this then because Ronaldo wanted him to say these things, otherwise he wouldn’t talk like a warrior in Ronaldo’s name. So,I think this is really a sign from Ronaldo, that he will try to prove his critics wrong again. Hopefully,it works!

Dunga said months ago that some players dont need to be tested becuase they know their abilities but need to work on their fitness , he ment ofcourse on Ronaldo and Ronaldinho .

Ronaldo only needs to be lucky with injuries and we all know he will score goals . Hes fitness will improve .

No injury , Ronaldo will have very good chance to go to WC .

Im just afraid that he will not be so lucky without any injury next 3-4 months and call ups for WC .

    Hope still lives !

its so funny his head is white and he’s all tanned.

  10. the real nameless on February 16th, 2010 5:09 pm

True, that’s also my only concern! Nobody could ever stop him, except injuries. Oh wait, they also couldn’t stop him, they tried to,but they couldn’t! :)
As for Dinho,he is in good shape, don’t know why he wasn’t called up.Dunga said he was not good in the last games for Milan. But then I don’t understand why he called up Adriano and especially Robinho. Robinho hardly played and convinced in his last days at ManCity. Just because of this one game he called him and Adriano (also had just one game and was injured when Dunga called him up) up. Anyway,I hope at the end Dunga will be fair! And Ronaldo won’t be sidelined for more than a week before (and during) WC2010!

“It was injured but not killed. It’s recognised worldwide. It conjures up the image of overcoming struggles, reborn from its own ashes” beautiful words.

the problem is dunga knows that if he takes ronaldinho and ronaldo he won’t be able to sit them on the bench.

  16. the real nameless on February 16th, 2010 5:24 pm

I think he can sit them on the bench if he wants to. Dunga is a hardliner, and if they perform less good on the pitch than others Dunga won’t have a problem to bench them. And I don’t think Ronaldo and Ronaldinho will make problems.Ronaldo already said he would also sit on the bench. :)

  18. emanaldo on February 16th, 2010 5:42 pm

yeah well said gashu. who need to test the ‘manual’ for striker?
i also just finished watching the game. ronaldinho played well for only 30 minutes, and the rest he was just walking around. haha.

but in my opinion, dunga prefers a player of high discipline i.e work rate than a skillful but a bit lazy :) (ronaldo and ronaldinho in this case)

please be free from injury ronaldo.

  19. the real nameless on February 16th, 2010 5:51 pm

Dunga just looks at the current performances,if you are consistently good or not! That’s the reason why he doesn’t call up Pato, because he lacks consistency. It has nothing to do with being lazy or not,I don’t think Dunga thinks Ronaldo and Dinho are lazy.In Ronaldo’s case he wants him in better shape and scoring regularly (even he knows Ronaldo can score everytime),in Dinho’s case I can imagine he wants consistency which he lacked after the loss against Inter. Maybe he expects more quality on the pitch from these players than from Adriano,Fabiano and Robinho.
