As I stated last month, Ronaldo could possibly sign for an English Club if he fully recovers from his knee injury. The other day his agent said he was able to play tennis for a couple of hours which shows that his knee is recovering well.
Just the other day a the Brazilian daily ‘O Dia’ claimed that Ronaldo will sign for an English Club but the Club is unknown.
Ronaldo will visit Paris at the end of the month to meet with his Doctor to assess his progress. This could be the time for Ronaldo to meet with potential clubs if results are positive. Ronaldo still has a lot of work to do to get back into shape as he has not been able to train since February.
If Ronaldo does sign for an English Club it would be the first time for Ronaldo in the Premier League.

Ronaldo’s agent has denied reports the former Brazil forward has been approached by Japanese side Kashima Antlers.
The 31-year-old’s representative Fabiano Farah claims the player, who was released by AC Milan at the end of last season, is focusing fully on getting 100% fit after a cruciate ligament injury.
Farah told Globoesporte: ‘There is nothing to tell about Kashima Antlers. Nobody asked me about Ronaldo.
‘Nobody from the board called me or even intermediaries. His priority now is to recover.’
Ronaldo is still recovering from a left-knee operation he underwent in February in southern Spain with specialist physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti.
‘He has been doing three sessions a day for the last three weeks,’ Farah added.
‘Besides, in the last couple of days he is playing tennis. The other day he played a two-and-a-half-hour match and didn’t feel anything. That proves he is all right.
‘Ronaldo has to make a final exam in Paris in mid-August to know exactly the date of his return to the pitch.’

Ronaldinho has chosen to the number 80 to go on the back of his shirt. Whilst with Barcelona, Ronaldinho wore the number 10. On transfering to Milan, he was unable to keep the number 10 as it is currently being worn by Clarence Seedorf.
Ronaldinho did not expect Seedorf to give up his number as suggetsed by the media as he does not believe that a number makes a player great.
The reason for choosing 80 is that Ronaldinho was born in 1980.
However, there is a slight problem with the number 80 as the company that manages Ronaldinho’s image rights is named R10. It is yet to be revealed if the company will change its name to R80.
