Ronaldo - O Fenômeno

Okay guys here is a recent picture of Ronaldo. He obviously is still on holidays but apparently he is doing 3 sessions a day. He doesn’t look as fat as he did on the yacht but he definitely still needs some work.

There has been talk in the English press that Portsmouth want to sign Ronaldo but I doubt Ronaldo would want to play for Portsmouth. A player that has previously played for Barcelona, Inter, Real and AC would not sign for a club like Portsmouth. No disrepect to Portmouth but the English press should get it right.

Ronaldo will be in Paris at the end of the month for his final examination. After this he will decide where he wants to play. Again I hope he stays in Europe so we can see more of Ronaldo.

Ramon Calderon has labeled his former striker as lazy. He claims that the reason why Real Madrid won the La Liga title is because Ronaldo left.

Speaking of the departed forward, Calderon grimaced to El Pais, “How much did the decision to sell him influence Real’s title win? A lot.”

He ranted on, “It was vital that we recovered the habit of hard work and sacrifice and Ronaldo didn’t collaborate. I’ve enjoyed watching him, but we had to change the atmosphere in the dressing room and he wasn’t helping.”

Looks to me like Ramon Calderon is upset that Ronaldo has convinced Kaka to stay at AC while they were in New York together. Calderon promised fans that he would bring Kaka if he was made president, this promise has yet to be fulfilled.

Ronaldo was traded to AC Milan in January and was not able to participate in the Champions League for Milan as he was cup tied. Later that year AC Milan won the Champions League Title but he did not get a medal as he did not play any games for them.

Back in Spain, Real Madrid was closing in on Barcelona for the La Liga Title and just yesterday they took the title after having a better head to head record than the Catalins. Again, Ronaldo was not given anything although he did play a few games and also managed to score with the little time he had on the pitch.

This has been a very unlucky season for Ronaldo with all the talk about his weight and personal life during the World Cup. The way he felt about the Real Madrid fans and him biting back at Pele for his 10 cents worth.

I’m hoping Ronaldo will have a better season and win many titles and most importantly with the Champions League for the first time.
